JDM "DOCTONE" - Bosstone Style Circuit Built Point to Point
Our take on the two-transistor “Bosstone” style fuzz circuit. By wiring this in the most minimalist way possible - no board at all - the silicon/germanium pair and the new old stock parts ring clear. Switch out the clipping diodes, and you get a rich boost/overdrive loaded with even order harmonics. Max the “Attack” for amp-like transistor drive. Pop in the clipping for classic Bosstone style distortion tone, also customized for higher headroom with an asymmetrical silicon/germanium diode set.
