Updates & Featured Pedals
April 12th: Get your orders in for early May! We’ll be producing a new batch of Elektrika Standard pedals, and these are *smokin’ hot* standard versions with Texas Instruments and 2N1307 low noise/high gain metal can transistors. You won’t want to miss out on this batch.
And we’ll be cooking up a batch of JDM “Blue Velvet” with 2N527 and AC121VI transistors. The AC121VI are as close to NKT275 as I have heard - rich and thick fuzz with great cleanup thanks to the 2N527 in the first position.
If you’ve been trying to decide between a MK1.5 and a Fuzzface, just get the Blue Velvet, and you have both with many shades in between.

about jdm pedals
JDM Pedals are boutique guitar effect pedals, handmade at our workshop in Berlin, Germany or Alfred, Maine, USA. Some are based on classic circuits with modifications and design additions, others are our own creation. Designed for working musicians, we use the most durable parts possible - Lumberg Jacks, Alpha pots, Dailywell switches, and solid cast aluminum enclosures. Our standard pedals are built on printed circuit boards, also hand assembled, using through-hole modern components and a variety of vintage and modern transistors. After over a decade of experience building circuits using transistors such as the venerable NKT275, OC75, OC44, etc. we also started offering circuits built entirely with "new old stock" components, hand wired in "point-to-point" style on tag board / turret board. These unique pedals are constructed and tuned individually, offering a one-of-a-kind tonal experience. The models we offer are quite full featured, but if you’d like a custom pedal, we can do that, too. In fact, many of our design changes come from customer requests. Just drop us a line - we can accommodate custom circuit changes, requests for particular transistor types, custom enclosure finishes, or just simple requests like particular control knobs and LED colors.
